Raymond Liew Jin Pin

Raymond Liew Jin Pin is a Malaysian choreographer and performer who lives in Germany. During his residency research at the K3|Tanzplan Hamburg 2019/2020, he created ‘Kampung Baru’ (New Village) that dealt with his diverse traditional dance training in the contemporary realm. It has led Raymond to his upcoming production ‘Maria Cencaru' for 2023 that researches how the queer Southeast Asian diaspora moves. Together with his partner Jascha Viehstädt, they work in different constellations and their latest choreography ‘1000Kisses’ is premiered at the explore dance festival for young public.
