Frumpus: 3 and sometimes 4 or 10 women posse that developed from the rich and anarchic Sydney performance scene of the early 1990s. creating a distinctive style and language exploring the awkward, the underdog & ideas embedded in pop culture surrounding beauty and the grotesque. Their frumpy red tracksuit image soon became a trademark for performance that pushed boundaries, celebrated frumpiness and the ridiculous and punctured ideals of physical perfection.
