About

MindsEye is a collaboration between Holly Craig, Imogen Yang and Gabriela Green Olea. This collective is committed to creating experimental dance-based works that are inclusive of all people and engage with audience members as active participants.

Holly is an emerging Blind dance artist and maker interested in creating place-based, experiential works using performance structures forged from their lived history of Blindness. 

Gabriela is a dance artist who works across many mediums. As a daughter and granddaughter of a refugee family, her work responds to the ideas of cross-cultural identity and the transitional space of belonging to community and place.

Imogen is a creative facilitator and collaborator working alongside people and communities with diverse and intersectional lived experience from a rights-based perspective.

MindsEye came about across 2020 / 2021 through a natural evolution of shared lived experiences, numerous choreographic residencies, and interpersonal exchanges since connecting in 2017.
