Heidrun Löhr is a pre-eminent photographer of live performance in Australia. Her career spans more than thirty years across performance, dance, theatre and contemporary visual arts practice. Löhr is known for her active use of the camera across the stage. Her photographs are more than documentation of a vanishing event. The photographs are collaborative works arising from the motion of both the photographer and the performer.
