NIKKI HEYWOOD is an interdisciplinary artist working across dance, performance, sound, writing & live art focused on embodiment & experiment since 1979. 

Informed by somatic & improvisational practice her body of work spans solo & group performance & has toured inter/nationally. 

Awarded a highly commended DCA in 2016 (Undoing Discomfort: being real/becoming other in an embodied performance practice, University of Wollongong), she continues research and collaboration with musicians developing new, existential chamber works.
