Moira Finucane occupies a visionary place in performance art; her wild & arresting mix of provocation & entertainment plunges a fork into the toaster of cabaret, burlesque and performance art and creates electrifying visions of humanity, freedom, power and desire. Erotically charged, seductive and subversive. She creates ‘worlds so beautiful it hurts to leave them’; intimate theatrical spectacles, surreal indoor carnivals, literary adventures & provocative variety. With co-Artistic Director Jackie Smith, the house of Finucane & Smith has won 15 international theatre awards, with seasons from Beijing’s National Theatre of China to Latin America’s most celebrated Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires.
