About
Micah Rustichelli is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based artist, performer and paint-pig. Working across modes of circus, club-kid performance, dance, painting and drawing, their practice broadly investigates the relationship between the self and the body to exterior reality. Micah currently considers this theme through acts of physical endurance and mental phenomena such as flow-state, trance and hypnosis, while exploring the connection between their experiences with gender, dysphoria, dissociation, and religion.
