Maria White

About

Maria White is an interdisciplinary artist and academic of Anglo-Celtic, Greek and Italian heritage, living on the unceded lands of the Bidjigal and Gweagal peoples. She holds a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of New South Wales. Maria has made performance work with theatre-maker Emma McManus since 2015, and has collaborated with vocalist and performance artist Annette Tesoriero since 2013. Maria has worked with HOSSEI as a performer on many of his projects, since Ussef/Issiac I Can't Tell Which One is Wearing the Hat? in 2009.
