Louana Sainsbury

About

Louana Sainsbury is a proud Darug woman from Sydney, currently living and working on the lands of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples. An experienced producer, programmer and curator, her practice crosses performance, contemporary art, moving image and storytelling through new technologies. She has worked with an extensive network of Australian artists & arts organizations. Most recently she has been working as a Curator at ACMI, developing First Peoples content and stories for the new permanent exhibition. Previously, she has held roles at Arts Centre Melbourne, Sydney Festival, Performing Lines, Think+DO Tank Foundation, Urban Theatre Projects, Belvoir and Bangarra Dance Theatre.
