Linda Marr

About

An important figure in the Australian acapella and world music scenes since the 1980’s, Linda is still inspiring people musically in 2024. She leads community choirs, writes and arranges music and presents world music on radio (2mbsFinemusicsydney.com). Founding member of internationally acclaimed a cappella group Blindman’s Holiday, seminal world music group Nakisa and Cuban/world music band Musica Linda, she now sings with folk ensemble Balkanski Bus. Linda specialises in singing and playing music from a variety of cultures - appearing on more than 25 CDs and performing and teaching throughout Australia and internationally.
