Gemma Tamock

Gemma Tamock is a singer who has performed over several genres. In her early years as an opera singer, roles included the title role in Carmen, (Bizet), Susanna and Countess Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro, (Mozart). She also appeared as Anita in West Side Story (Bernstein) and more recently, she was the lead singer in Chango, a salsa band. She has also worked in opera, theatre and music theatre for young people, as a teacher and director at the Sydney Opera House, the Conservatorium of Music, the Australian Institute of Music, Sydney Vocal Art Centre and McDonald College of the Performing Arts.
