Amit German

Amit is a multidisciplinary artist, academic and care-worker whose work seeks home in the liminal spaces they inhabit as a trans person and white, second-generation settler on stolen land. Amit’s work draws from their Jewish and South American heritage, as well as experiences working in linguistics, trans voice therapy, and peer support. Through performance, Amit challenges dominant narratives surrounding gender-affirmation, religion and utopia using gesture, techno and queer ritual. Amit also works with silver, glass and leather.
