Calling all queer artists - applications are now open for our Queer Development Program!
Our program is the place to develop your creative skills, performance ideas and industry connections through two streams: Stephen Cummins Residency and Queer Workshop Intensive.
Stephen Cummins Residency
A two-week-long residency for queer artists or collectives to make significant progress towards creating a new performance work. The development process will be overseen and facilitated by an experienced mentor nominated by the artist or with the support of Performance Space.

Queer Workshop Intensive
A seven-day professional development program focused on practical and creative skills for developing queer performance practice. The program will be led by experienced artist facilitators who introduce various methodologies for creating performance in a collaborative environment. The intensive will connect you to an intergenerational community of queer makers and give you the opportunity to present new material to the public as part of Queer Nu Werk.
