Panel: On Other Worlds

How can we move from this reality, into another - and another - and another? 

Across the course of human history, we have looked to stories to understand where we’ve been, and to propel us forward into the future. Myth, fairytale, fantasy, science fiction, travel across time and space - in imagining other worlds we inevitably change our own. In this discussion, artists Daley Rangi, Emily Parsons-Lord and Shan Carroll-Turner share their speculative practices, and the social, political, and ecological drivers that sent them in search of other worlds. Together we will embark on a journey of imagination to explore how the choices we make create our realities, and how we can rupture the present in search of better futures.
