From 1995 - 1998, Performance Space brought you the original cLUB bENT - debaucherous and celebratory evenings of queer community and talent.

As part of Liveworks 2023, as we celebrate Performance Space’s 40th anniversary, we’re getting bENT back like it's 1995.

cLUB bENT’s return will mix old and new. Featuring some of the original 90’s stars, we’re looking for the artists and provocateurs of now to join this legendary lineup. The performances will be curated by cLUB bENT All Stars Daniel Mudie Cunningham and Victoria Spence, and will take place on October 28 at Carriageworks. Performers must also be available for a short tech run during the week of October 23.

Performers will receive a fee.

Cabaret // Burlesque // Drag // Movement // Spoken Word // Dance // Performance // Things yet to be classified as art

Applications can be written (max 500 words) or audio recorded (max 2 minutes).

Please send your ideas and proposals by 5pm Wednesday 2 August.
