Nanako Matsumoto

Nanako Matsumoto is a Tokyo-based dance artist and co-director of the performance unit Team Chiipro. She has focused on creating research-based dance works with Team Chiipro, having presented two pieces at Kyoto Experiment 2021 Autumn and 2022. In recent years, she has been exploring the Yokai Body, a transformative state formed by layering multiple images onto the body to examine relational metamorphosis within the body and to redefine perceptions of the female body.
