Cheryn Frost and Emma Kew

Cheryn Frost and Emma Kew are collaborative performance makers working across theatre, drag and film. As a duo they have credits across directing, writing, lighting design, curating and producing and have presented work for Dark Mofo, Biennale of Sydney, Bundanon, Bondi Festival, MCA and The Bearded Tit. They were the recipients of the 2025 Stephen Cummins Residency for the Performance Space Queer Development Program.

As individuals they are also accomplished artists - Cheryn’s credits include The Queer Woodchop (Pony Express), Brolga: A Queer Koori Wonderland (Performance Space), Volcanoes & Vulvas (Redline Productions/ The Old Fitz) and Hydraulic Fucking (PACT). 

Emma’s works include Notes on a Scandal (Qtopia Pride Festival), I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Cooking For (Stage Mom), national tours for CDP Theatre Producers and numerous film collaborations with award-winning company Studio Antics Buff, Dykes on Bikes: An Origin Story, Single and Winona.
