Agnes Whalen

Agnes Whalan is a performer, vocalist, musician, poet, tattooist and visual artist. Born on Wiradjuri country, Agnes currently lives and works on unceded Wurundjeri land in Naarm/Melbourne. Agnes synthesises a vast range of collected and harvested materials as a means to collapse relationships between the body, technologies and systems of behaviour. They are interested in symbolism, etymology, mythology and story-telling - searching for the truth of who we are, where we’ve been, and what we’re becoming.
