Naomi Johnson

Naomi is a versatile arts manager and flautist passionate about building strong, resilient communities within the Australian performing arts. She has held roles at the Opera Australia Capital Fund and as a Music Programmer at ABC Classic, where from 2015 to 2023 she led a network-wide initiative to increase the on-air representation of female composers. As a flautist, Naomi is a core member of the award-winning experimental music collective The Music Box Projects, and enjoys creating intimate, playful spaces at the intersection of music and speech. She holds a Masters of Business (Arts and Cultural Management) from Deakin University and a Masters of Music (Performance) from the University of Melbourne.
