Equity Advisory Committee
Performance Space has a long history of engaging with diverse communities beyond the programming we present. To address diversity and inclusion in all areas of our organisation, we seek advice from our Equity Advisory Committee which has representatives across a number of communities we regularly engage with. This group is remunerated, and the model is designed to be nimble and flexible, with the ability to draw in other expertise as required, depending on the focus of the committee at any given time.

We began strategically, investigating short and longer term goals for the organisation. A diversity and board inclusion matrix audit we undertook informed a matrix of goals and actions over the next three years.

The committee meets three times a year to provide advice and feedback on the matrix, and share best practice they have engaged with across our sector.
