PUBLICATION: REFLECTIONS ON LIVEWORKS 2017

As Liveworks lunges into its fourth year of cutting-edge experimental art—and following the huge success of 2017—we are excited to launch this new publication reflecting on the festival. Adopting a similarly experimental approach to Liveworks itself, the publication features contributions by Caroline Wake, Cheryl Ong, I-Wen Cheng, Mark Harvey and LabAnino.

Take a moment to explore these specially-commissioned essays, videos, images and reflections before watching the video documentation of the two-week festival, capturing the thrills, spills and hijinks through the artful eye of videographer Sam James.

Liveworks has grown significantly with each year of the festival and is the place for audiences to experience extraordinary work from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. Over the years the festival has engaged with artists from around the world, providing a supportive platform to develop and present their work to over 100,000 audience members.

Enjoy these reflections on the growing legacy of Liveworks and then buckle in for another incredible festival from the 18th to the 28th of October 2018.
