We are excited to announce that Performance Space and West Kowloon Cultural District (Hong Kong) will be partnering in 2018, to present a new residency program for artists working in experimental performance.

The Performance Space x West Kowloon Exchange Residency provides an important new opportunity for an Australian artist working in experimental performance to expand their practice and networks into an Asia Pacific context. The selected artist will travel to Hong Kong for a two-week exchange program where they’ll work alongside international artists and undertake a series of creative and professional development activities. Following their international residency, the selected artist will fly to Sydney to attend Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art and soak in the extraordinary experimental art from Australia and the Asia Pacific at the ten-day festival, as well as participating in Liveworks’ rich program of networking, exchange and artist workshops.

A full outline of the program, including timelines and information on how to apply, is available via the APPLY NOW link below.

Applications close midnight, 10 June 2018
