Performance Space will unleash the extraordinary Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art on Sydney this October 2015Housed in Sydney’s Carriageworks arts precinct, Liveworks is an exciting new direction for Performance Space – impressive in scope, scale and ambition. Featuring acclaimed Australian and international artists working at the experimental edge of their art forms, Liveworks will present a multidisciplinary arts program that spans theatre, dance, digital technology i.e. robots performing to experimental scores, and visual arts. Liveworks will be the first festival of its kind for Sydney, championing new developments in experimental arts practice and connecting artists and audiences with the most dynamic and innovative new work across the Asia Pacific.

    In this audio described performance, accompanied by a tactile tour of the work, patrons will be led through the exhibition space and encouraged to encounter the work through a facilitated sensory experience.

    The Liveworks Public Programs present a unique opportunity to engage on a deeper level with all of the major works in the festival through a series of public events. Partnerships with the FBi and Golden Age will also enable live broadcasts, curated music programs, and themed film screenings to sweeten the Liveworks festival experience!
