CARCLEW SCHOLARSHIPS,  CARCLEW (SA)

Carclew is South Australia’s only multi-artform and cultural organisation dedicated to artistic outcomes by and for people aged 26 and under.
Carclew scholarships provide an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young artists who demonstrate outstanding motivation, talent and potential in their artform or practice.
Each scholarship has a one-off allocation of $12,500 to be used for professional development as determined entirely by the recipient.

SUMMER NIGHTS 2015, THE BLUE ROOM & PICA

The Blue Room Theatre and PICA are now welcoming applications for Summer Nights, our hand-crafted program of theatre, dance and performance which takes place as part of the biggest annual arts festival in Western Australia – FRINGE WORLD, Jan 23 – Feb 22 2015.

2015 RESPONSIVE PROGRAM CRITICAL PATH

Applications for Critical Path’s Responsive Program are now open. The Responsive Program provides support (space and financial support of up to $20,000) to NSW-based choreographers wishing to engage in practical, self-directed research.
An Information Evening will be held at The Drill, Rushcutters Bay, on Saturday 23 August at 6pm.

MACQUARIE DIGITAL PORTRAITURE PRIZE 2014: NATIONAL GALLERY

The National Portrait Gallery calls all creative types aged 18 – 30 to submit a screen-based digital portrait for the $10,000 Macquarie Digital Portraiture Award 2014.
The artist judged to have made the most outstanding screen-based digital portrait will be awarded a $10,000 bursary and an artistic residency at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts.

RECYCLED MATERIALS: ARTIST RESIDENCY WARRINGAH COUNCIL AND KIMBRIKI RESOURCE RECOVERY CENTRE

Following the success of the residency of Sandy Bliim, Warringah Council and Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre are offering another six month residency.
The Artist Residency program aims to support new or emerging artists to develop their professional practice and contribute to the cultural life of Warringah. Sandy Bliim has been working at Kimbriki for six months – creating large permanent artworks from materials salvaged onsite.
The Successful artist will be given up to $8,000 and will need to be able to commit to the residency between August 2014 and February 2015.

CALL FOR ENTRIES TO EXHIBIT AS PART OF MELBOURNE FRINGE FESTIVAL: FECK:ART 

FECK, local producers of responsible erotica, invite Melbourne’s emerging artists to unleash their inner perverts and submit works of beautiful obscenity.
Exhibition runs: 19 September to October 4th as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival
Opening night: Friday 19th September from 6pm.
Open to all media, where practical to exhibit.
Size limit: 750mm wide, 400mm deep, 2m tall
Aquisitional prizes:

  • First prize of $3000
  • 2x runners up prizes of $1000 each
